The hot dip metallic coating process is typically used to coat steel sheet and coil which all may be factory pre-painted like PPGI. PPGI is also used to refer to metallic coated steels that have been pre-painted, by TSC offers PPGI that is zinc coated steel

Galvanized steel is made completely of zinc, while galvalume includes aluminum, zinc, and a small amount of silicon. This provides superior durability and resistance to corrosion in comparison to galvanized coating
